THE STORY

An encounter as magical as improbable in the City of Lights

Paris. Tender sunlight and bright fresh air of springtime. Saint-Germain. A pleasant noise of the conversations all-around floats over the café terrace. From her table, in perfect quietude, she watches the passers-by… when suddenly she observes this elegant silhouette, virile and relaxed, crossing the boulevard in front of her. They look at each other… They are captivated… It’s intense, magnetic… He approaches… keeps regarding her… A moment of inattention, the sidewalk missed… A false step he transforms rapidly in a gracious reverence, accompanied by this charming smile… a bit embarrassed, a bit amused… Everything lasts no more than one second, the handsome stranger walks away…

His passage leaves a void behind him, and this emptiness, daydreaming, she already fills it with wild and fascinating perfumes inspired by the picture of the young man… Fusions of subtle yet present scents, atypical but almost recognizable, a soft mix but virile at the same time, of a complete ambiguity and yet of an incredible simplicity: the very essence of a growing passion.

A delicate and refreshing breeze, in perfect accordance with the spring fragrances surrounding the terrace, brings her back to reality… She finally looks away from this sidewalk where the seducing silhouette escaped her insistent gaze…

Then, suddenly, the perfume of her reverie embalms the air, but rather real this time. The beautiful stranger turned around and approaches, also real. He plunges his regard into hers, he walks straight towards her.

Starting with the first note, a green and sparkling freshness awakes the senses, rapidly sustained by a subtle floral palette of freesia, lotus and rose, giving to the formula a surprising and delicate sensuality. The strength of the musk strikes suddenly, but in complete harmony and perfect symbiosis with the precious sandalwood and the seducing patchouli…

THE PERFUMER

Dorothee Piot:

She has distinguished herself as a gifted perfumer, currently associated with the renowned house of Robertet, renowned for its exceptional talent in natural perfumery. Trained at ISIPCA, she has also built up her experience with leading houses such as Symrise and Charabot.

Her impressive portfolio spans a variety of prestigious brands, including Amouage, Azzaro, By Kilian, Escada, Mugler and Lalique, with landmark creations such as Amouage Memoir Woman, Olfactive Studio Chambre Noire and Mugler Angel Eau Sucree.

Dorothee reveals a particular love for unique scents such as summer nights, black truffle, lime and fresh hay. Her passion for fragrances was awakened when she was 15, following a meeting with a perfumer. She admires Clinique Aromatics Elixir and would have loved to compose a fragrance for Marco Polo.

She takes a multi-tasking approach to her work, juggling several projects to refine and balance aromas. Dorothee believes that cooking refines the olfactory sense and understanding of fragrance.

As an aficionado of chypre fragrances, she likens them to a stroll through a lush garden, gradually revealing themselves. Despite the restrictions on ingredients in chypre fragrances, she believes in their modern, sensual appeal.

Dorothee Piot stands out in the world of perfumery thanks to her creativity, expertise and love of natural ingredients, making her a key figure in the industry.

Your precious nectar is presented in a magnificent silver-plated multi-faceted flacon, crowned with our signature bright silver cap, engraved with the brand logo. Always accompanied by its rechargeable Nomad Spray and by its white velvet pouch decorated with the silver logo, the fragrance bottle is presented on its white velvet hold inside a very luxurious perfume case. Entirely hand-made, the wooden case, covered in dark gray color leather, is tastefully engraved with the brand symbol and hand-stitched with silver silk thread for a perfect and elegant finishing.
