The portrait of a woman, mysterious and beautiful, in New York City

She’s back! I can guess her presence behind me by the clacking sound of her high heels on this legendary Lexington Avenue… I turn, and it is her, indeed, with her determined walk, her tall silhouette more real than ever… Pleasure for the eye, trouble for the soul…

A mysterious aura accompanies this almost immaterial apparition while walking, so beautifully, so elegantly… Who is she? Where is she coming from? A divinity descended from a different world? An animated sculpture carved by the tools of what genius? The perfect image from a silent dream, if it wasn’t for the regular percussion of her stilettos…

As in a spontaneous homage, the crowed steps aside to let her pass… Heads turn… Is she aware of it? Nothing indicates it. She seems ignoring the passers-by, her expression is serene, her regard soft but determined… Was that the shadow of a smile floating on her lips? Royal, superb, her image fades away, vanishes. Nevertheless, she offered me the most attaching gift: her unforgettable perfume. On her magical path she left the trace of a subtle fragrance, yet imposing… an obsessive, rare perfume that floats, nostalgically, like the memory of a Lost Paradise.

Dream or reality? Enthusiasm or despair? All she did was to pass by… The contouring of her figure and the sound of her high heels marked my spirit… I now invoke my luck, hoping that one day I will cross again her magnificent allure on this same legendary avenue… Her image disappeared, but during her short passage she offered me the most attaching of memories: her perfume…

THE PERFUMER

Dorothee Piot:

Elle se distingue en tant que parfumeuse douée, actuellement associée à la réputée maison Robertet, reconnue pour son talent exceptionnel en parfumerie naturelle. Formée à l’ISIPCA, elle a aussi enrichi son expérience auprès de grandes maisons telles que Symrise et Charabot.

Son portfolio impressionnant s’étend sur une variété de marques prestigieuses, incluant Amouage, Azzaro, By Kilian, Escada, Mugler et Lalique, avec des créations marquantes comme Amouage Memoir Woman, Olfactive Studio Chambre Noire et Mugler Angel Eau Sucree.

Dorothee révèle un amour particulier pour des odeurs uniques comme les nuits d’été, la truffe noire, le citron vert et le foin frais. Sa passion pour les parfums s’est éveillée dès ses 15 ans, suite à une rencontre avec un parfumeur. Elle admire Clinique Aromatics Elixir et aurait aimé composer un parfum pour Marco Polo.

Elle adopte une approche multitâche dans son travail, jonglant entre plusieurs projets pour peaufiner et équilibrer les arômes. Dorothee considère que la cuisine affine le sens olfactif et la compréhension des parfums.

En tant qu’aficionado des fragrances chypre, elle les compare à une balade dans un jardin luxuriant, se dévoilant progressivement. Malgré les restrictions d’ingrédients modifiant les parfums chypre, elle croit en leur charme moderne et sensuel.

Dorothee Piot se démarque dans le monde de la parfumerie grâce à sa créativité, son expertise et son amour pour les ingrédients naturels, la rendant une figure incontournable dans l’industrie.

Your precious nectar is presented in a magnificent silver-plated multi-faceted flacon, crowned with our signature bright silver cap, engraved with the brand logo. Always accompanied by its rechargeable Nomad Spray and by its white velvet pouch decorated with the silver logo, the fragrance bottle is presented on its white velvet hold inside a very luxurious perfume case. Entirely hand-made, the wooden case, covered in dark gray color leather, is tastefully engraved with the brand symbol and hand-stitched with silver silk thread for a perfect and elegant finishing.
